Although I took a one week surfacing class I am not ready for a surfacing job yet. I can however modify parts and make detail drawings efficiently and sometimes surfacing can be required to make those changes. After a year of using AutoCAD I learned Pro/ENGINEER at Design Engine. While at Design Engine
I took the Pro/ENGINEER three week class. After the class I worked on
modifying the LEGO racer geometry so it could be used to teach WF4.0 assembly
operations. I learned how to manage large assemblies while using simplified
reps. |

Wildfire 4.0 parts and assembly are from a Yamaha R6 Race bike. This aftermarket part does not need to accommodate head lights. This all aluminum structure easily bolts to the frame of the motorcycle and holds the faring and windshield upright. This welded tube structure was created using WF4.0 The challenge was to get the tubes to seat in the correct location using the Pro/ENGINEER assembly module.

Wildfire 4.0 parts and assembly. I took A lego Toy Racer and created this assembly. I modeled many of the parts myself. I used Simplified Reps as opposed to Top Down for this project. I created in WF4.0 the yellow side panels, the yellow hood, the gray windshield part and the spoiler. The wheels I borrowed from another lego racer project and modified them to fit my assembly.
